THURSDAY 28th AUGUST : CENTRAL JOBCLUB

Thursday did start off as a bit of a lark. Steve Bonks and a few other Brits invited me to a day of sunshine and relaxation in Central Park. It was one of the most beautiful days I had seen in New York marred only by the growing realisation that we were all out of work and there was nothing on the horizon. When a number of recently unemployed Americans tunred up (their office at www.jnco.com in New York closed down). There was little else to do but go find Happy Hour.

The Lady was a little suprised to see me return from the park at 11.30 in the evening in full spirits.
