I didn't realise that it would get to me. I normally think I'm safe on planes - so I've been browsing British Airways website for a flight before their Jan sale ends. I find the flight - great price - $333 and I hesitate.... memories of those cancelled flights in January and I remember the email Davo sent me on Tuesday re. his flight back to London on BA:
"good bit of security action at the airport - stood waiting by the duty free
and the police apprehend a young bloke for not having a ticket or a boarding
card
up against the wall - searched cuffed the lot - he apparently got thru all
the security detectors and was about to try and get on a plane"
Hmmm. With a crafty bit of manipulation of Expedia, I think I can fly home on Branson's little Virgin Airways for the same price. And who's going to have a go at old beardie's planes....
damn, now I've jinxed it.
