Wed 29th Dec : Oncoming Hedonism

So I have just finished trying to make the apt ship shape. The Lady is on vacation in India. It's amazing how it can become a little untidy in no time at all. I got the bleach out and the window clean out and tried to do everything - kitchen, bathroom, closet. And there's still more to do! How does the Lady do it?

It's strange her being away. So so far away in both distance and I suppose you are now in a different mindset, I suppose. I hope these few days there will help her meditate on life and I am sure she will come out stronger from your experience. I miss her presence. I trace her handwriting on her travel to-do list with my index finger. Round and round.

So, it was funny to see Dan and Bella. They came in and met me in the office. They looked so well, especially Bella. It was strange to be walking down Broadway with them. They're supposed to be my friends in Notting Hill not New York. We went to Bread for lunch and Jane came down and met us just before I had to go back to work. She and her baby are well. I hope to see them a bit over the next few days.
So did we discuss the impending plans for huge hangovers over the new year period?
Hmmm. Looks like I'm going to have a quiet few days with them. Can you guess why? That's right. There's going to be a little baby on the way. What wonderful news, yeah? Bella is a little non plussed that she can't drink or smoke anymore but I told her I think she's had her fill already.
Dan said he hadn't.
