I saw this print in a sushi bar in Fremont in Seattle the other day and I loved the ironic adaptation of Japanese art.
Then I read who had produced it. Kozyndan are a couple of illutsrators, based in Los Angeles, who have taken the classic Hokusai print, The Great Wave, and changed the surf into bunnies.
The Print Is Available At Their Online Store Here

I don't know how far this is going to take off but it's a pretty smart idea: Clickwheel have decided to deliver the world's first desktop application for downloading digital comics — or 'podstrips' — to the iPod photo.
The've commissioned a number of leading artists to create work including demian.5, Ted Dewan, Daniel Merlin Goodbrey and Colin White.

So the Lady admitted she had her mind made up. She'd had enough. Well about a week ago and so had decided that it was all over. She didn't quite tell me this. She just didn't talk to me for a day or two. In fact three days. Until her parents hurried up to try to talk sense into us - the evening of her birthday. Somehow, we broke her down and she gave in and took me back. I promised never to throw a strop on a deserted street at night ever again. Nor smack her bottom....
She later admitted that she'd already planned getting over me: Match.com, maybe PersianMatch.com. It all sounded so easy. Chuck the boyf, get online, find a husband. Ah...

Over on the New York Guide I write about a new bar that's opened up around the corner. When I first popped by with the Lady we discovered an amazing Latin disco upstairs fully equipped with DJ, dancing Brazilian festival girl on podium, a crowd that would feel at home in Ibiza Town (which is pretty difficult to find in the US).

Becuase I've been so involved with PSFK and IF and a few other blogs I've been finding it a tad difficult to both (a) have naughty adventures and (b) write about any naughty adventures.
So I've decided to let some of the PSFK rub off with the introduction of a few bits and pieces I find interesting. Ill hightlight the New York Guide more here - and then add other locations.
Well that's the plan

Last nigth at the Brass Monkey then brazilian bar then dive bar I've had my eye on. Johnny's On Greenwich Ave. Mr Mc who was with me said how much he liked it. I told him, yeah I've been waiting for the right moment where I spend all day tucked away in the dark corner at the back. He looked a bit shocked. I'd have breakfast first, I told him.

Mate,
The best way to do come over and work is to have a Brit company bring you over. Otherwise, I would normally recommend that you come over for 3 months and bang on doors. But there aren't any visas for another 15 months (I think).
Best bet is to come over in February / March next year - find someone who will put in a sponsorship application in April for you to start October.
Sorry the news isn't positive.... it took me 15 months to get my visa and I lived* here!

* Obviously, this is an exaggeration if anyone from the Immigration Bureau is reading. I was on holiday in the US enjoying this fine country - as this blog testifies.

Went out with
English on Wednesday night and I had this curious nostalgic feeling for
times you would go to the pub in the evening after work, drink 5 pints
and realise you didn't need to have dinner after all - and so have a
couple more pints.
Much of this happened in the Bath House on Dean Street I remember.
Cheeky burger in the Spotted Pig on the way home!
